Saturday Morning Coffee
Fairly Traded tea and coffee are served in the Mary Bass Room between 10.00 and 12.00 every Saturday morning. These lively drop-in facilities are popular with shoppers and market traders.
Also on the first Saturday morning in every month there is a cake stall outside the church porch. A wide variety of cakes and bread is sold, along with jams and pickles as the seasons progress. All donations of home cooked cakes, suitably wrapped, are accepted and sold within minutes.
Sunday Morning Coffee
Tea and coffee are also served after the main act of worship on a Sunday morning. This brief gathering can be a good informal way to get to know the regular congregation.
Parish Lunches
From time to time during the year freshly cooked lunches, offered at £4.50 per head, are served in the Mary Bass Room on the first Thursday of the month, between 12.00 and 12:45pm. Watch this space to see when they are back on offer. You have to come early to avoid disappointment.
